For over a decade, Dr. Joshua R. Mitchell has been a trusted pediatric otolaryngologist serving families across Tampa Bay. He is board-certified in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology, the highest certification awarded by the American Board of Otolaryngology (Head and Neck Surgery) for this pediatric subspecialty. His practice covers all areas of pediatric ear, nose, and throat care, with special expertise in childhood hearing loss (including cochlear implantation), chronic ear disease, head and neck tumors, airway management and reconstruction, as well as cleft lip and palate repair.

Originally from Indiana, Dr. Mitchell combines his Midwestern roots with his dedication to serving families in the Tampa Bay area. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife, their three children, and their family dog. He has participated in international humanitarian mission trips, bringing surgical expertise to underserved communities abroad. Locally, he also gives back by serving on the advisory board of the First Tee Tampa Bay, helping guide programs that support youth development.
When not in the operating room or with his family, Dr. Mitchell can often be found on the golf course, playing hockey, or cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning. His passion for service, family, and community enriches the care he provides to his patients every day.
